Mission

The ICT dept of the company is looking for an experienced Functional analyst, immediatly available. You have at least 8 years analysis experience. This person will work in a project team and needs knowledge of Java and Oracle 11.

Tasks & responsibilities

• A Functional Analyst translates the business analysis or business requirements into a functional and technical analysis of the (end-to-end) process that serves as input for the development and test team.
  • Analysis of the business requirements impacting an application for a project or enhancement request
    •  Communication with business or business analysts on these requirements
  • Estimate the workload of the chosen solution (high level); define the deliverables to be created depending on the business requirements and plan the change (project, release, fix)
  • Create the documentation of the analysis in a solution design and story list according to best practices in terms of functional and non-functional requirements and standards
    • For packages, ensure standard functionality is leveraged maximally and customisations are kept to a minimum
  • Provide input and guidance to developers regarding detailed technical design
    •  Provide input into and review story design
    •  Define functional setup parameters
  • Be the contact person for functional questions or issues
    •  Within the team, towards other teams or business during both development and maintenance activities
    •  Ensure functional dependencies with other applications
  • Optionally, define test scenarios and participate in testing activities
  • Maintain functional knowledge and documentation of the assigned application portfolio
    •  For packages, have an in depth knowledge of the standard functionality and standard data model
  • Get acquainted with the methodologies, modelling tools and best practices which are used for functional analysis

Required profile
Training

• Master or equivalent through experience

Experience and technical skills

• At least 8 years relevant experience

Language Skills

• Dutch, French, English
