Function

You will support our clients, through various project assignments, in identifying & delivering tailored solutions.

Moreover you will play an active role in the business development activities in order to grow our financial services industry offering.

You will contribute to a wide range of projects within the financial services industry, helping our clients cope with the challenges they are currently facing on business and regulatory driven implementations by:

• Supporting the client in determining its strategy and defining the right set of initiatives & projects to execute upon this strategy;
• Having quality discussions with the clients senior management, demonstrating creativity combined with strong industry knowledge;
• Translating regulatory requirements (eg. Basel II, Solvency II,...) into implementable business requirements, making use of your acute industry expertise;
• Developing Gap analyses based upon these business requirements and defining To Be processes/solutions;
• Manage & support implementation projects resulting of above business requirements and assure the interaction with the IT aspects of the implementation.

Profile

• You have 10 to 12 years of experience as a specialized Financial Services consultant or within a large financial company (Banking or Insurance);
• You have capacity to identify main client strategic goals & their related initiatives;
• You have a strong interest in and affinity with the financial services industry, its regulatory aspects and its repercussions on financial and risk related processes and reporting;
• You have experience in regulatory driven implementation projects;
• You have strong MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint & Access);
• Awareness of typical industry packages (Core Banking/Insurance systems, Risk monitoring systems,...) is an asset;
• You have a university degree, possibly followed by a post-graduate degree;
• You are a team player with strong communication, facilitation, and coaching skills;
• You have an intellectual curiosity combined with outstanding analytical skills;
• You are an entrepreneur at heart and able to combine content and business development;
• You are open to work in an international environment and to work abroad if needed;
• You are fluent in English, Dutch and French. Additional languages are a plus.
