JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Understands the client's complex business problems and prepare project plans, procedures and implementation schedules to address them.
  • Scopes the work required and is accountable within the framework of the Project Management and Service Delivery Methodologies for the development of workable project plans and financial models.
  • Solves problems to the satisfaction of both the customer and the company.
  • Is accountable for the relationship with clients regarding solutions, project expectations, execution and issues arising.
  • Negotiates with clients on project parameters and ensures contractual commitments, obligations and performance levels are met.
  • Identifies and exploits opportunities for new business with clients (pre-sales activity).
  • Uses corporate IP (knowledge bases) wherever possible and contribute to it by materialising experience gained in projects.
  • Knows, understands and applies corporate standards (methods, tools and processes) : ITIL V3, PRINCE 2
  • Assigns resources, monitor progress and take corrective action to deliver solutions within project budget and time lines.
  • Selects, develops and leads diverse teams of people, either on specific projects in the short or long term or with regard to several projects on an ongoing basis.
  • Produces reports for the company and the client as required.
  • Supports and coaches more junior colleagues as appropriate.
  • Manages the risks of the project and takes appropriate preventative action
  • Carries Profit & Loss responsibility

 

PROFILE

  • Typically degree qualified with at least 5 years' experience
  • Experience in service management for European Institutions is a plus!
  • Certifications (ITIL V3, PMI or Prince2 Practioner) and experience of managing/ co-ordinating projects.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal-written) in French, English and Dutch
