Our client is a niche consulting firm specialized in the financial sector.

Description :

You will be dedicated to the project Group Accounting Systems (GAS), aiming at implementing the consolidation tools and processes to the organisation.

What will be the specific tasks of the external resource?

  • You document the Financial Accounting processes impacted by the GAS project.
  • You analyse and challenge the GAS processes in an end-to-end perspective.
  • You ensure the matching of the organisational structure with the IT Architecture.
  • You describe users requirements and raise potential issues to the GAS Board.
  • You identify key process inefficiencies, examining data for bottlenecks, duplication, waste, etc.
  • You recommend process improvements and assist in their implementation.
  • You measure and report on process performance by designing process performance indicators and establishing target levels for each indicator. Propose dashboards to Finance managers to monitor their processes.

  • You are skilled at analysing business processes covering multiples aspects (organisation, operational activities, systems and data flows)
  • You are skilled at analyzing problems, structuring the issues and presenting results.
  • You have excellent communication skills, are results-driven and customer-oriented.
  • You are able to prioritize your work and have strong organizational skills.
  • You are familiar with the MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • You are service-oriented and have excellent listening skills. You are able to work with a team of skilled professionals, promoting teamwork and team spirit.
  • You are Fluent in English and have a good level in Dutch and French.
  • You have from 5 to 10 years experience
